As a runner myself, the idea of racing in shorts other people have worn is not something I’d prefer to do. The school does have a team set of used racing shorts that I’m more than happy to check out to each runner this season, but I would like you to consider just purchasing your own racing bottoms that you keep.

Because our uniform tops are under armour (although I think one of the boys tops is adidas), I’d prefer if you went with that brand. Here’s a link to their “Kick” model shorts.

They have them in royal blue. If girls prefer to race in the tights, that’s fine, but it’s completely up to what you’re comfortable racing in. In the UA catalog, they list for $30. The school gets 40% off, so if you’d like us to purchase them for you, you can pay the school $18. Make checks payable to Lago Vista ISD Athletics. If you’d rather purchase them on your own, you’re welcome to do that. I will not be placing this order until next week, so we won’t have them for the first meet if you purchase them through the school.
