The 5K course was 200 meters long and the 3200 was 250 meters long. Keep that in mind when looking at your times. Oh, and it was a touch hot.
Congratulations to the girls team for winning one of the most prestigious races in Texas. They beat current 1 in 2A and defending state champion San Saba. That’s kind of a big deal. Reece Brooke 19 in a 5K that was 200 meters long. Nolan was 2 seconds off of a PR on a long course. Tommy ran incredible. Very, very proud.
Practice this week will be 6:15 am Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. We will practice at 4:17 pm on Thursday and Friday. I know it’ll be hot Thursday and Friday, but we need to get acclimated to the heat. All girls will race 2 miles on Saturday. I’ll send a message with the meet schedule on Tuesday.
